Tuesday, 16 February 2027
St Mary’s Church, Barnes, SW13 9HL

In this story of espionage and exquisite couture, Justine Picardie reveals the undercover lives of the creators behind the facade and traces the ways in which visual iconography safeguarded the monarchy, even when their reign seemed to be hanging by a thread. Justine will be talking to Professor Helen Taylor, an Emeritus Professor at Exeter University and an established author of works of non-fiction with a feminist slant.
