The Booker prize-winning novelist, Sir Alan Hollinghurst, will be talking about his latest novel. Spanning half a century and written with Hollinghurst’s trademark eloquence and insight, Our Evenings traces the journey of Dave Win from boarding school childhood to an artistic flourishing in experimental theatre, against the backdrop of an ever-changing Britain.

Alan will be in conversation with Harriett Gilbert, a patron of BLS and the presenter of A Good Read on Radio 4.

This event will be preceded by the AGM.
